Biography:

Mr. Creagh was born September 12, 1962 in Cuba. He was the son of Antonio and Gisela (Martinez) Creagh.

Detective Angel Creagh joined the New York City Police Department in July 1998, and began his career on patrol in the 71 Precinct. He also served in the Narcotics Division, as well as the 61 and 78 Precincts. He was promoted to Detective in March 2006. Detective Creagh made more than 870 arrests during his 14-year career, and was recognized six times for Excellent Police Duty and two times for Meritorious Police Duty. He retired on December 1, 2012. Detective Creagh died on January 14, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, Lazaro, Juliana, Lorentena and Gabriel; and parents, Antonio and Gisela.

He was a New York City Police Detective for many years and a first responder to 911. Angel enjoyed music, collecting antiques, the beach and most importantly spending time with his family.
