Laura is a non-profit leader who joined VOICES in March 2020. Her primary responsibilities include leading the daily operations of our support services and programs, coordinating outreach efforts, facilitating support groups and peer-to-peer networks, developing and facilitating webinars, and establishing and overseeing an expanded volunteer program.
Prior to joining VOICES, Laura spent five years developing, managing and growing volunteer programming to support hospice patients and their families – from end-of-life into bereavement. She has also directed research projects geared at improving the health of vulnerable worker populations, developed low-literacy health information materials, provided supportive counseling services to at-risk populations and strengthened community collaborations to promote population health.
Laura received a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University at Albany.
