2021 NYC Symposium | September 9th

VOICES 20th Anniversary Remembrance Symposium

September 9 and 10, 2021

VOICES 20th Anniversary Remembrance Symposium was held on Thursday, September 9 and Friday, September 10 at the Downtown Marriott Hotel at 85 West Street in NYC, and also broadcasted online.

Remembrance, Reflection and Resilience was the theme of the two-day symposium as we remembered those we lost, reflected on our journey together, and looked to the future with renewed resilience. Presentations highlighted the expertise of professionals, who discussed accomplishments over the past 20 years and lessons learned. Topics included trauma and resilience, journalism and national security, the VCF and compensation programs, pending legal issues and personal reflections from all.

As we reflect on this milestone anniversary, we are grateful to the wonderful speakers who shared their important insights.
