September and October were a whirlwind of activity for all of us at VOICES. On September 3rd VOICES participated in the second Annual Run to Remember on Governor's Island. Once again it was a beautiful day and a wonderful gathering that both honored the memory of those lost and raised important funds to support 9/11 organizations.

I am writing to update you on the 9/11 Living Memorial Project and to ask for your assistance. In 2006 VOICES began working with families to create the Living Memorial as a tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost and to document stories of survivors. VOICES staff is committed to working closely with each family to guide you every step of the way.

This day-long workshop will explore a unique model that was developed to address the long-term issues of the 9/11 families, rescue workers and survivors as victims of terrorism.
