About:

Father Bruno Dekrem celebrated Sacred Heart's Opening Liturgy and a special dedication ceremony for Beth's Garden. Elizabeth Logler, class of 1987, was tragically donated funds to the Sacred Heart Campaign in loving memory of their daughter. The original garden from the 70's has been replaced with a beautiful memorial to a woman of heart, Beth. A quote from an article Mrs. Logler had written about her daughter shortly after September 11th. "We only had Beth for 31 years but we thank God for having her with us. She showered us with her love, her tremendous sense of humor, her kindness and her generosity. Hers was definitely a million dollar smile."

Beth’s Garden at Sacred Heart Academy is dedicated to Elizabeth Logler (October 16, 1969 - September 11, 2001), an alumna from the class of 1987, who was tragically killed in the attacks of 9/11. The garden was donated by Claire and Robert Logler in loving memory of their daughter. “We only had Beth for 31 years but we thank God for having her with us,” said Mrs. Logler. “She showered us with her love, her tremendous sense of humor, her kindness and her generosity. Hers was definitely a million dollar smile."
