About:

To serve as a tribute to the victims of September 11th and also to the men and women of the Armed Services who are dedicating themselves to preserving our liberty. Reason site was selected: The site was the 2002 Arbor Day site for the city of Fremont, Nebraska. The park is named after General John C. Fremont. Events planned for site. The park is the site for the annual John C. Fremont Days Festival that draws 80,000+ people. Do you believe your memorial is a sacred place?: The Parks department does not think that this tree planting creates a sacred place.
