I only knew Brian through basketball playing on his team in the NY Urban League. He picked me up to play point guard as he and the rest of the team were literally giants compared to me (I'm 6 ft). We played ball together in the Spring of 2011 and were getting ready to play our first game of the fall season on Tuesday 9/11. Brian left me a message on my apt answering machine at 11pm the night before to remind me about the game. I'll never forget playing that message over and over after that day. I wear our blue basketball t-shirt every 9/11 in memory of you. I hope your still playing ball in heaven...
