Biography:

Trooper First Class Eugene K. Baron Jr. was an 18 year veteran of the Connecticut State Police. Trooper Baron was a member of the traffic unit and a K-9 handler in which he and his K-9 partner diligently searched through rubble at world trade center for several days looking for survivors and recovering valuable evidence at this horrific crime scene.

Gene loved sailing, camping and history. He enjoyed many days at sea, sitting around a campfire and visiting historical sites. Gene will be deeply missed by all who knew him!
