Beloved husband of Nicole (Fasnacht). Devoted father of Sabrina and Dominic. Beloved son of Alfred and Alberta De Martini of Haddon Heights, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. Engaging brother to Alfred, Nina, Rosemary, Paul and their spouses. Terrific uncle to their children. For the Port Authority, Frank was Construction Manager of the World Trade Center, a building that he passionately admired.
Raised in Haddon Heights, NJ, he earned a degree in architecture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn where he practiced his profession and developed real estate after graduating in 1974. He was hired by the structural engineering firm Leslie E. Robertson Associates to help with the repairs of the 1993 terrorist bombing at the World Trade Center. He will be remembered for his courage, his passion, his love for his family, and his joy in being a parent.

I watched Heroes of the 88th
I watched Heroes of the 88th Floor tonight. It's the first show I have ever watched that had anything to do with 9/11. I envy any person who has ever had contact with this most incredible human being named Frank DeMartini. The world could use a lot more like him. God bless you!!

Watched Heros of the 88th Floor
It was my 8th birthday on the day of the attack. As an adult, listening to the stories from survivors about heros like Frank, makes me hope and pray that in a crisis I respond the way these heros did. I'm so afraid Id freeze up or curl in a ball in a moment like that. Its so hard to conceive of how people reacted so calmly with so much uncertainty. I'm so impressed and floored by the bravery and kindness people had for each other and it makes me angry that this happened to them. I'm so grateful their stories are told so I could hear it. I've been inspired and reminded that death is inevitable but I hope that I make it count someday like Frank and Pablo did. They seemed to face it all so unafraid of what would happen and that's the kind of bravery I aspire to have facing the world.
