Dear the loved ones of Gene,
Hi let me just say I have not actually lost a family member or friend on 9/11 but I have lost a loved one. I am so deeply sorry. When the tragedy broke I was nearly 3 but I understand enough to know It was not a great thing. I didn't know Gene at all but I'm sure he was probably a very miraculous person. Again I'm so so sorry for your loss.

I am sorry that I didn’t reach out sooner. I knew for only a short time. Out of no where your phone number I found a week before it happened. I had promised myself to call you but didn’t. Not a year that I do not think about you.
