Ginger was an exceptional person and my best friend at work. Her memorial was memorable at the chapel in Columbia University. Attended by hundreds the most particular feature to me was the number of very successful investors on Wall Street who remembered Ginger as their boss mentor colleague competitor but ultimately always a great friend. She made our work seem exciting fun and even easy -- though it never was. We shared broad interests in everything from biking fashion food art (we used to discuss Bill and Ginger's growing art collection frequently) and even more new york and its culture and people. Ginger was exceptionally kind and funny with my kids and I imagine most kids. We had summer houses nearby each other in Southampton and would visit and barbeque together. There are many more memories than I can write here but there is hardly a day that goes by that I do not think of her. I have a beautiful belt (Gucci -- Gingers favorite designer) that she gave me for my 39th birthday that I wear "for luck" often. It is as Ginger was timeless and beautiful. I am extremely happy that I found the attached picture of Ginger and her equally wonderful husband Bill.

As I often do on the anniversary of 9/11, I found myself reading the gut-wrenching stories of those whose souls departed that fateful day. I was particularly touched by the story of Ginger- her love for moose and her impeccable style. The love for her shines bright through the commemorative photos and posts highlighting her many accomplishments. Thank you for sharing her story and life with the world. My condolences to your family for your loss, and wishing you love and joy into the future.
