I remember running into his wife at one memorial. I got to hear her story about losing him and how hard it was to come every year to "visit" his remains. I always make it since then that I added him to "my list" of people to light a candle for on every 9/11 since I met her. Maybe it was the 5th anniversary memorial. I always thought, if I ever won the lottery I'd come to Idaho and build her a memorial garden where she could find peace and spend time with him. I never won that lottery, but I still remember him and her sadness. My 30 yr old daughter will carry on that remembrance after I'm gone. And everyone lost that day, we will never forget.
