Today is the tenth anniversary of the horrendous attack on our country. I initially came to this site guided by a homework assignment, to find someone with whom I share a connection or an interest. My Daddy reminded me of you. He was your son's (Robert) platoon Sergeant in 1st FAST Company. He always talks about what a well respected great Marine your son was and how he was tragically taken before his time. He also talks about how tragedy struck your family once again when you were taken during the September 11, 2001 attacks. I was only 5 years old when we were attacked. I do not have any memories about this my Mom says its because she wouldn't let me watch the news. I guess it was her way of trying to protect me. However, when I watch the news or discuss this with my family, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of sadness and anger. I cant even imagine the hurt your family and friends must feel. Although I did not have the pleasure to meet you, you will never be forgotten. My Dad says you and Robert are guarding the streets of Heaven. Your family will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
