Biography:

Mario Bastidas was a dedicated FDNY paramedic who gave his life in service to his community. He worked tirelessly to provide medical care and assistance to those in need, responding to emergency calls throughout the city, including the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001.

Mario was a loving husband to his wife Penelope, and a proud owner of his "furry children" Stone and Seamus. He was also a devoted brother to Sara, Jose, and Juan, and loved spending time with his nieces, nephews, and many friends. Mario's dedication and selflessness will always be remembered, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew him. His legacy serves as a reminder of the bravery and sacrifice of our first responders, and his memory will be honored for generations to come.
