I wanted to let you know our town Aspen Colorado every year hands out a red rose with the picture of a victim of that tragic day. I chose Martin and wanted to thank you for his sacrifice. I am sure he was a wonderful man, and hope you have been able to heal from your loss.

Martin and your family are in my prayers today, I pray for understand, healing, comfort and strength. May you be blessed today and everyday with the joy that Martin was a part of your family then and always.

Biography:

Martin N. DeMeo New York Fire Department of New York 9-11 Year of Death: 2001 Martin‚ a devoted husband and father of two teenage children‚ was a kind and compassionate individual. He enjoyed helping others and this was reflected in his many years of service as volunteer for the Fire-Medic Company of Port Washington‚ New York followed by a career as a paramedic and then as a firefighter. He took pleasure in spending time with his family‚ including camping‚ baseball and trips to Montauk.
