Biography:

Matthew T. O'Mahony, 39, a Centereach native who lived in Manhattan, was a bond trader at Cantor Fitzgerald. From his office on the 105th floor of the north tower, he phoned his mother. O'Mahony, who had survived the 1993 bombing, mistakenly believed a bomb had struck the skyscraper again.

"I don't know what's ahead for me but I'll always love you," he told her. Matthew's remains were never found. This is one in a series of profiles of LI families who lost loved ones on 9/11, and how they're coping 10 years later.
