Yesterday marked 25 years.

It’s hard to believe so much time has passed. I still remember our phone calls every week between England and New York, and I sometimes wonder what we’d be talking about now.

This year has been one of the hardest of my life, and I’ve missed you more than usual. There have been so many times I’ve wished I could just pick up the phone and talk to you.

I often wonder how different my life might have been if you were still here. There are so many things I wish I could talk to you about, and so many moments over the years when I could have really done with having my dad around.

25 years on, I still think of you and wish more than anything that we’d had more time. I hope you knew how much you meant to me, even from so far away.

Miss you and love you always, Dad. x
