Wow. What a man.
Having just read every word in Bob’s gallery I am in awe of this young man and deeply saddened that his life was cut way too short. To his family, best friend, fiancée, coworkers and anyone who knew this remarkable human being I say: may his memory live on and may his light shine eternally in all who knew and loved him.
From the late poet John O’Donohue:
May you continue to inspire us:
To enter each day with a generous heart.
To serve the call of courage and love
Until we see your beautiful face again
In that land where there is no more separation,
Where all tears will be wiped from our mind,
And where we will never lose you again.
John O’Donohue

hi bobby
Hi Bobby my name is Mary, our grandmothers Marie and Rosalie were sisters. We never met, but I think of you every year around this time. Maybe you remember hearing about when your cousin Julie had a baby. My parents used to talk about you a lot when I was a kid, and we still think of you everyday. Despite never meeting, when I read about you or hear stories about you I can sense the connections between us as family and see the similarities in our ways of thinking and seeing the world. I feel honored to be related to someone like you. With every year that passes I learn more about the person you were and think less and less of the way you departed this world. Reading about your desire to become a writer really resonates with me, as my dream is to be involved with music. I hope you know that your writing has technically been published in the Atlantic and that you've inspired many, many people. Rest in Peace.
