Biography:

Steven was born in the Bronx on June 24, 1972 to parents Ralph and Eileen Cioffi. He grew up in Locust Point and except for a brief foray into Yonkers lived his entire life in the borough of his birth. Steven was educated at St. Frances de Chantal elementary school, St. Raymond’s High School, and John Jay College. Steven joined the NYPD in 1994 and was promoted to Sergeant in 2001 and Lieutenant in 2007. He most recently served in the Central Park Precinct. After the 9/11 attacks Steven spent four months at the Ground Zero site.
