Tawanna and I were in HS together. Her loss is still deeply felt and poignant. She was a bright, bubbly and involved member of our school community. As an adult she was making her way in the world with joy, perseverance and determination. I hold her memory in my heart. I extend my love and support to her family, friends and colleagues who are her legacy.
