I had the Honor and Privilege of wearing your badge/photo during our Colorado 9/11 Stair Climb event at Red Rocks today! I will keep you and your family in my prayers forever! I will Never Forget Thomas A. Gardner - Your My HERO!!!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA

Dear Thomas

First of all I want to say thank you. I say that because being a firefighter must have been one of the hardest jobs on that day. I cannot imagine what you must have been seeing and feeling at that time. I am sad that you were not able to achieve your teaching position that you were hoping for. On the other hand I will congratulate you on being able to put yourself through college. Your jokes must have been funny because other people have written about them. I also want to say good job on making the Long Island ice hockey team. I also like ice hockey.
