I remember seeing 9/11 on the news as a child, being so young and not from the US I didn't quite grasp the extent. Growing up and learning more and realizing how many people were affected by this tragic event, I've always wanted to see the memorial and pay my respects. Coming from Scotland it was such a nice respectful memorial to the people who lost their lives. Such a peaceful place now were people are remembered for their bravery and lives And where the families can have a place to visit.
