Biography:

Jason was a bright light in an otherwise ordinary world. His charm and charisma were infectious and we were fortunate to have him, albeit for such a short time. No parents were more proud of his accomplishments and the way in which he conducted himself in his adult life. We will hold his memory dear as will his sister Claudia and his brother Darren.

There were so many sides to Jay. We knew him to be a devoted son and brother, always putting his family first. Jason was fun loving and wild but at times he could be quiet and introverted. His discussions with his Mom on everything from family plans to vacation plans, are sorely missed. He was a traveler who would go anywhere at any opportunity whether it was the west coast, the Caribbean, Paris or the jungles of Costa Rica. But most especially, we miss his handy work in the garden, which is still filled with all the lilies he would buy and plant every Mother’s Day. His Dad misses him most when fishing and he misses their daily talks on the phone. He often would call him on his way over the bridge to Brooklyn. He would see the Towers and they would remind him to call Jay. However, on September 11th he never got that chance. They would often discuss business and whether he and Kristen would be stopping by on their way back from the Hamptons for dinner on Sunday. But mostly they would just talk about fishing. His Dad often made fun of him because he broke the tips off every fishing rod he had. As much as he loved this sport, he loved his job at Cantor Fitzgerald. He was a team player and as often as he was late for every affair he ever attended, he was never late for work. Jason always strived to set himself apart from the rest. He lived his life to the fullest and endeavored to experience all that there was. In Jason’s short but beautiful life he had one hell of a time.

He will be in our hearts and minds forever and we will always be reminded of his kind and gentle ways whenever we watch the waves break against the shore or watch the lights sparkle on the Christmas tree. Jason you meant so much to so many and touched us all in different ways, you will never be forgotten. We will think of you always with a smile and a tear.
