I wanted to let you know that Michael was honored today at my school. I have the privilege of working at the Lewis Center for Educational Research Academy for Academic Excellence in Apple Valley, California. Each year, on September 11, we find different ways to honor and remember those Americans we lost in this tragedy. This year, everyone student and staff at our school received a slip of paper with a name on it. We were to research, the name and tie our slip of paper to an area at school where people would see it. I got Michael's name. My students and I tied the slip of paper to a tree outside our classroom where the students like to hang out and talk in its shade. From the way Michael has been described, I think he would have stopped and talked to these young people under the tree.

Fellow "Pally Boy" The days we hung in Pally still are so vivid in my mind. Those were the days my friend. Hope to see you in heaven. Know you are there.

You will never be forgotten. I smile when I think of you sitting behind me at church at St. Joe's. And the night when I ran into you on the campus of Lehigh University. You touched my life and I hope I can live as you did making everyone feel special. Thank you.
