Joseph Maio, 32, of Roslyn, New York, was the Director of Equity Derivatives at Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center. He was a member of Rockland Country Club, Sparkhill, New York, and a member of the Tam-O-Shanter Country Club in Long Island. Maio was the beloved husband of Sharri, devoted father of Devon Maio, loving son of George and Paula Maio, dear brother of Anthony Maio and his wife Carmela and their 3 daughters, Nicolette, Dominique, and Julianna, dearest grandson of Louise Maio and Madeline Skulsky, grandson-in-law of Madeline Setty, cherished son-in-law of Chuck and JoAnn Setty, and brother-in-law of Robin & Jordan Goldman and their son Drew.

My dad John D'Amato was business partner with his dad
I remember my dad told me that his business partner George Maio sold Maio's barbershop after 911 because his son died in Cantor Fitzgerald during the attack.
When I was a teen, I met the whole family when we went to their house for a pool party.
Over the years we saw George Maio at the barbershop and my dad said he loved that I told him George looked like Tom Jones.
