It's been 10 years since we

It's been 10 years since we've last spoke. But I remember it like it was yesterday. We had so much planned so much to do.... but I had to do these things without you. We still had much to do since. My life has never been the same without you, you were one of the influences in my life that molded me into the person I am. There are times when I wish you were here, dark times when I knew you could makes things better with just a few words and a smile. I no longer have that. All I have are memories of growing up, good times, and random silliness. I will never forget you.

I just want your family to know That I rode my bike in yesterdays 2 million bikes to DC in your honor. We were all giving a sticker to wear on our helmets. When I got home I looked up Mr. Allens name and would like you to know I was honored to represent him yesterday.

In honor of Richard - Mile 48

After the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I saw an Instagram post of someone running a mile for each life lost. I was inspired and so now I am hiking a mile to honor the lives lost on that day, a day to never forget and lives to never forget.

On 10/26/2026, I hiked a mile in honor of Richard Lanard Allen.

I read articles about him and his mom Denise. I looked at photos including his Star Wars comic book. How cute! "Richie and Sean would always go into work early," said Allen's mother, Denise. "Every morning, without fail, they would read the Bible and pray. I think they were doing that when they died."

God bless Richie and his loved ones.
