I'm doing a project on what happened to Michael Rourke Andrews on 9/11. I'm very sorry for what happened to Michael Rourke Andrews, I'm sure he was an amazing person.

After the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I saw an Instagram post of someone running a mile for each life lost. I was inspired and so now I am hiking a mile to honor the lives lost on that day, a day to never forget and lives to never forget.

On 11/3/2026, I hiked a mile in honor of Michael Rourke Andrews.

Reading this about Michael made me smile: “He was such an obsessive Yankees fan that if they hit a home run while Liz was in the kitchen, she would have to stay there, for luck.” As a sports fan, I totally get it.

God bless Michael and his loved ones.
