A Memorial Plaque in honor of Father Grogan will be placed outside the entry of the Holy Cross High School Chapel by the graduates of the HCHS Class of 1972 on Sunday, June 5th 2022. A prayer service will follow.

The plaque has been placed as originally state. The HCHS of Waterbury, CT classes of 1972-1977 are planning a Day of Reflection on the Life of Father Grogan. There will be Memorial Service in his honor. Details will be forthcoming.

On March 24th and 25th of 2023 there will be an event held at Holy Cross High School in Waterbury, CT called 'Reflections of Father Francis E. Grogan, C.S.C.'. Friday's events are open to alumni only while Saturday's events are open to the public. Father Frank was the first Chaplin at Holy Cross High School, arriving in 1969 and leaving in 1976. His spiritual strength and his ability to mentor adolescents has rippled through the lives of many over the past 50 years. We hope that this event will give his spirit a reawakening within the halls of Holy Cross.
