College with Kevin
My husband and I attended Western Oregon State College in Monmouth, OR with Kevin. We shared a love of music with him; he with the talent. Kevin and my husband bonded over the Dead. Kevin and I had the same witty, snarky since of humor. We think of him often. We were just in Monmouth for the eclipse and thought how much he would of loved that. Kevin had strong family ties and spoke so fondly about Marcia, Neil, and Barry. But he had a particular love for his mama; that was something I enjoyed talking to him about. Monmouth was too small for Kevin. We always felt so pedestrian with him and knew he'd do something grand in a big place. He did that. So glad to have known him, even if for a short while.
