Jean A. Andrucki | Voices Center for Resilience

So sorry

What a lovely person you were, Jean; all these years later, you haven’t been forgotten.

After the 25th anniversary of 9/11, I saw an Instagram post of someone running a mile for each life lost. I was inspired and so now I am hiking a mile to honor the lives lost on that day, a day to never forget and lives to never forget.

On 11/4/2026, I hiked a mile in honor of Jean A. Andrucki.

Her obituary reads “Why waste time on TV when you could read or bike or help somebody out?” Jean sounds like a remarkable, admirable woman.

God bless Jean and her loved ones.
