Dear Robert,

I was a firefighter in the UK so I understand the "job" and the "sacrifices" that are made. On 9/11 I was living in Anaheim CA. I remember so vividly the horror I felt the moment the WTC Collapsed. I froze, I knew. To this day I am haunted at the loss of life especially of fellow firefighters. I happened upon your page here and I just wanted you to know that fellow firefighters around the world still mourn the loss of you and all of the FDNY who fell. I guess I wanted you to know that although we have never met, I SEE you, I recognize your sacrifice and I want you to know my brother that you will NEVER be forgotten. There were so many heros that day, and you are one of them. I hope that you are resting in peace.

Mr. Foti, I am a longtime supporter of first responders of all kinds and I may not have known you personally, but I knew of you due to having noticed your name in the lists of the people who perished on that infamous Tuesday morning. I am so sorry that you and your buddies left this Earth prematurely. Regardless of what happened to you, you are in my heart and mind. Rest In Peace, Mr. Foti!
