I remember hearing you throughout the office humming when printing copies. I hated it haha but I let you do it because I was dramatic.

But that day was not supposed to be there on floor 84th, I felt sick and you told me to go home to get better. I said no.

You put my spider-Man coffee cup on my desk I said thank you. But glass crashed everywhere my cup fell to the ground and broke. I'm sorry I'm so sorry smoke threw everywhere it was too hard to breathe. I remember my eyes burning I couldn't see it at all you garb me from under my desk and pull me to the stairs. There were too many people and we fell. I was holding onto you too tight but the corner of the wall behind us collapsed. 

To say to you from your dear friend Charles my apologies I fell with you but didn't go with you.

On February 27th, during a trip to New York, we went to Ground Zero. The guide told us we could take some water and place it on a name at random, to offer a thought, a prayer, for the person in question. So, I sadly thought of Elizabeth, even though I didn't know her.
