Much Sorrow

On 9/11 after the towers fell & thousands of photos of loved ones were pinned to boards asking for help in finding them, as I watched TV of the unfolding tragedy one smiling face stood out with the name Doug Gardner and his name alone stuck in my brain, ^ I hoped that he would be reunited with his family. This was not to be as in the case of all those other souls who were taken so violently that day. I read a few years ago that his widow Jennifer had after several years alone, met someone who would love and cherish her and their two young children. Wishing this young family only love and happiness for the rest of their lives. RIP Doug Gardner.

Best Uncle Never Met

Douglas Benjamin Gardner, I just heard your nephew speak about you during the 25th commemoration. You were 38, I am now 39. May your spirit soar and shine extra high and extra bright today. May you fill your loved ones hearts with peace and love every moment they feel the pain of missing you. <3 I will never forget <3
