I am Flint Scherman a 9th-grade student from PHS, and I am working on a project about the victims of 9/11. My class and I were asked to choose a victim who died in the towers. I had chosen Maynard. and did my research, and learned that he was a great, loving guy. And I think it was nice of him to leave notes in his house for his wife to read. I send my condolences to his family, and friends. I feel bad for what had happened, and Maynard and everybody else did not deserve death that day, but I hope that Maynard's family is doing ok. Maynard will never be forgotten. He was a great guy, from what I have read.

I first met Maynard when we worked on a project at Staff Leasing in Bradenton, FL in 1995 to 1996. We were both recognized for our consulting ability by Marsh Risk Consulting. I was hired by Marsh in January of 1997 and was surprised to learn that Maynard had also been hired as a consultant, located in Atlanta. I attended projects and meetings both in Atlanta and New York with Maynard. He was known for his work in the Construction Safety sector. He was kind and fun to work with. I was sad to learn that he was attending a meeting in New York at the time of the WTC attack on 9/11/01. I remember him today, 25 years later, with other friends and colleagues who perished that day and send condolences to his family and friends.
