Nicole Otting (not verified)

September 12, 2026

My name is Nicole Otting and I am a fifth grade teacher in Ohio. Yesterday, our entire district participated in a memorial walk to honor those lost on 9/11. For each name we wore on our shirts, we could climb a flight of stairs or walk a mile. I had the great honor to walk for Mr. Papa. Every lap we completed on the track I would say his name aloud. When I got home that day, I looked up the names of the people I walked for and learned more about them and I am thankful to add Mr. Papa’s name to my classroom in a permanent place to share his name for many years to come.
