I knew Gerard before 9/11 and we spoke often as he worked at the World Trade Center. We had music in common. He told me he was working on a new production of Melanie's "Lay Down (Candles in the Rain)" and played it for me many times. I'm a songwriter and working with a producer in LA on my new album and we were talking and I mentioned that I love the music I'm doing because it's so unique. I asked him if he knew of another example of what we are doing and he sent me a link to the Melanie song. I was shocked. I knew right then that Gerard was communicating from the afterlife. I believe he's helping me with my music... and may have other messages, too.

I knew Rod from Star Tavern where I was a waitress. His knowledge of music was crazy! Always liked to see him. Not sure why I thought him today on July 4 but wanted to send my love.
