Jack John Kelly (not verified)

September 12, 2021

Jimmy, You had an uncanny ability to make people feel like they mattered. You were several years older, but whether it was swimming or playing golf at NHCC your enthusiasm for life and friendship was infectious. He was one of few people who called me J.J. And although my golf skills were far inferior to his, I can recall the times he’d “kidnap” me to go sneak on to a golf course, I order to get a practice round in before an upcoming tournament. One of the funnier times was when we “jumped” on to Plandome C.C. and joined up with two members…they had no idea we didn’t belong;). Although I didn’t have much interaction with Jimmy beyond age 15, his larger than life personality has always had a special place in my heart. I will never forget…RIP Jimbo.
