We had a last day together, just that Saturday," Enrica Naccarato said of her younger sister, Lorraine Lisi. They had last-minute tickets to a concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center, formerly the Garden State Arts Center, and packed up Ms. Naccarato's daughter and two friends. "We spent the whole day there. It was like God saying, `Here, have your last day.'"
Ms. Lisi, 44, had an apartment in Manhattan, but used it only when she had to work late. The rest of the time she lived with and cared for her parents in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, where she grew up.
"Lorraine was always checking in with the people she loved," Ms. Naccarato said. "She would call everybody; she was everybody's mother. She loved children and was always ready with candy. She was everybody's aunt. She found so much joy watching people opening the gifts she gave." And in her office at Fiduciary Trust International, she displayed the pictures of her co- workers' children.
"I can't believe it," Ms. Naccarato said. "It's like she vanished. It's like somebody kidnapped her, almost."

In Remembrance
I didn’t know you, but your name caught my attention when I visited the memorial last year. I feel we are kindred spirits of some sort. I think of you often, your sacrifice, and your family.
You look down on where you came from sometimes But still you'll have this place to call home always Glory, glory, glory, glory—James Blake “Godspeed”

Donating in Memory of
I donated Blood yesterday 9/11/23 at the Bristol International Dragstrip in memory of Lorraine Lisi. It made me have a happy cry to be able to keep Lorraine's memory alive. I know she had to be a very special person and greatly loved. Now she is greatly missed, but never forgotten. Many prayers to your family and all the other families who are missing a loved one from this tragedy.
