The memorial includes a garden and sculpture. The sculpture is a life size bronze statue, depicting a German Shepherd rescue dog in full rescue uniform, including protective booties and a vest.

A plaque is in place outside the locker room, and dozens of personal Remembrance plaques from donors are displayed inside.

The Plaque Reads: Somerset County, PA New York, NY Washington, DC Through blurred eyes we find the strength and courage to soar beyone the moment.
The memorial was designed with an elevated square concrete base, upon which a 10-foot tall, 980 lb. I-beam from the World Trade Center wreckage was placed.
Weighing about 600 pounds and measuring 6 feet long, the twisted I-beam will be the centerpiece of a memorial at the MSU Billings College of Technology.

Spirit of 9/11 is a sculpture by artist Gregory Perillo. It was inspired by soccer, softball, and basketball coach Lt. Charles Joseph Margiotta, a firefighter who was killed on September 11th.
The memorial can be found at the base of the Statue of Liberty located at the east entrance of the courthouse.
Revealed on Memorial Day 2011, the monument consists of two Twin Towers connected with a Christian cross.
