The University of Wisconsin-Parkside, 900 Wood Road, will dedicate a living memorial to the victims and heroes of the Sept. 11 attacks during an on-campus ceremony at noon outside Molinaro Hall.

This ship was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the WTC. She is the fifth in a new class of warship designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists.

Purpose: The memorial is to remember what happened on 9-11 as well as what happened after in terms of volunteerism, patriotism, and bravery.

The memorial was designed by a committee of about ten people from Washingtonville. The monument itself was made by Tallix, Inc. of Beacon, NY.

Our intention was to honor the lives lost on 9-11-01 and to never forget this sacrifice.

Purpose: The "living memorial" is a "Hope of Harmony" garden bed.

After the tragic events of 9/11, the Township resolved to construct a memorial dedicated to those West Windsor residents who perished on that horrific day.
