To serve as a tribute to the victims of September 11th and also to the men and women of the Armed Services who are dedicating themselves to preserving our liberty.

The Kenilworth 9/11 Memorial, in the memory of John Tobin and Robert Kaulfers, can be found in front of the Municipal Center in Kenilworth, New Jersey.

Bench was donated by a local organization in Green Brook and Dunellen. Dunellen, NJ is where Kermit caught the train every morning for his commute to NYC.

After the September 11, 2001 attacks on America, the City of Lake Charles acquired two World Trade Center beams from the City of New York and one slab of Pentagon limestone from the U.S.

Trees were planted by Laura's sister Cathy and brother-in-law Bill Collins in her memory. They are ornamental pear trees.

To honor the teacher, student, and two parents from Leckie Elementary who were killed in the Pentagon attack.

Because the permanent memorial at the Flight 93 crash site will remain a long time in coming, this project involves doing plantings now throughout the community to try and unify the area.

The walkway was created featuring 12 trees, permanently illuminated, and several benches for quiet reflection.

Keep America Beautiful asked all its affliates throughout the United States to plant a Liberty Garden to honor those who lives were taken on September 11, 2001.
