This project is headed by members from Staten Island District 1 of the Federated Garden Clubs of NY State--a group with over 200 members that has been in existence for 75 years.

While the gazebo is the centerpiece of this memorial, there are also two plaques to commemorate the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

This stained glass memorial panel was created by Durhan Studios in West Hempstead, NY.
Two stone memorial posts are on the grounds of Peter Hanson's high school.
Painting is painted on the side of the shed at the Willett home. The artist is Carol Peacock from Arkansas. The Monument is 6'4" tall which is the same height as John Charles.

This memorial is located at the base of a flag pole on a concrete slab in the shape of a pentagon. This plaque reads: "Less we forget the lives lost. September 11, 2001.
