Building Resilience After Loss:
VOICES Bereavement Workshop Series

Join us for an interactive, virtual workshop exploring creative ways for grieving individuals to build resilience after the loss of a loved one. Those who attend will: (1) Redefine resilience as bouncing forward; (2) Discover how resilience is related to vulnerability, shame and power.
 
This workshop have been generously sponsored and is offered free of charge. Space is limited, and registration is required.
 

 
 
4-Week Writing Workshop for 9/11 Survivors
Thursday, January 14, 2021
7:00pm to 9:00pm EST
 

VOICES introduces a 4-week beginners creative non-fiction writing workshop for 9/11 survivors. Facilitated by Angelique Tung, survivor of the 9/11 attacks, this workshop will create a safe space for survivors to write their stories of survivorship both on the day of the attacks and beyond. NO writing experience needed. Space is limited and registration is required.

 
Each workshop will be held from 7:00pm - 9:00pm on the following dates:
Week 1: Thursday, January 14th
Week 2: Thursday, January 21st
Week 3: Thursday, January 28th
Week 4: Thursday, February 4th
 
Each of the 4 sessions will include a short reading and discussion, time for writing, and an opportunity for participants to share their writing and receive supportive feedback in a non-judgmental, confidential setting. Sessions will be hosted virtually via Zoom.
 
Participants will have the opportunity to add their stories to the VOICES 9/11 Living Memorial.
