I hope this note finds you and your family safe following the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who tragically lost loved ones and those whose homes were destroyed or damaged by fire and flooding.Thanks to the tireless efforts of Mayor Bloomberg, Governor Christie, Governor Malloy and Governor Cuomo, much progress has been made in coordinating with local, state and federal agencies in the recovery effort. As happened after the attacks on 9/11, thousands of rescue workers and volunteers have traveled from around the country to provide assistance to those in need.
