Mary Fetchet, LCSW
Executive Director and President

Mary Fetchet is Executive Director of Voices Center for Resilience, an organization she co-founded after the loss of her son, Brad, on 9/11. Drawing on her experience as both a mother of a victim and a clinical social worker, she pioneered a victim-centered approach that provides long-term support services for tens of thousands of victims' families, responders, and survivors.

Recognizing the importance of commemoration, Ms. Fetchet created the 9/11 Living Memorial Archive, working with families to document the 2,977 lives lost - now a collection of over 87,000 photographs and a core component of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. She was also instrumental in advocating for the 9/11 Commission, which led to sweeping intelligence reforms.

A sought-after speaker, Ms. Fetchet is an authority on victims' rights, grief, trauma recovery, and national preparedness. She has served on numerous advisory boards, contributed to peer-reviewed research, and earned wide recognition, including induction into the Columbia University School of Social Work Hall of Fame and honorary membership in the Leadership in Counter Terrorism Alumni Association.
