Support Groups

VOICES currently provides peer support groups for 9/11 family members, survivors, and responders (virtual) and Parents Helping Parents for those who have lost a child (in-person). Peer support groups bring together those with shared experiences to discuss challenges, develop coping strategies and provide emotional support and helpful resources. Group members:

  • Talk openly about personal experiences
  • Offer encouragement and comfort
  • Explore ways to grow in our personal journeys
  • Reduce stigma and increase accessibility to services
