VOICES currently provides peer support groups for 9/11 family members, survivors, and responders (virtual) and Parents Helping Parents for those who have lost a child (in-person). Peer support groups bring together those with shared experiences to discuss challenges, develop coping strategies and provide emotional support and helpful resources. Group members:
Talk openly about personal experiences
Offer encouragement and comfort
Explore ways to grow in our personal journeys
Reduce stigma and increase accessibility to services
