The National September 11 Memorial Museum has won accolades for its exhibitions depicting the terrorist attacks and their aftermath, but it also has come under fire for its gift shop, a planned cafe and a recent reception for donors.
"It's hard for me to accept that all of those things are in the same place where the remains are," said Rosaleen Tallon, who lost her firefighter brother on 9/11 and opposes the interment of the unidentified remains of victims at bedrock adjacent to the lower Manhattan museum. More.
