Training Programs
VOICES has created educational programs and materials that help communities prepare to meet both the short and long-term needs of victims impacted by tragedy. Often emergency response planning does not take into account the long-term needs of victims. These individuals may continue to experience difficulties long after the event or they may find psychological issues will unexpectedly present years later.

Based upon the real world experience of staff members who have worked extensively since 2001 with those impacted by the attacks on 9/11, VOICES is uniquely positioned to provide a long-term framework for use by stakeholders within each community.

Webinars and interactive Workshops provide guidance and skills building to promote healing and resilience. Subject matter experts share their expertise on relevant topics that address the evolving needs of those impacted by traumatic events and today’s challenges.

Our work has given us valuable insight into the long-term needs of victims' families, responders and survivors. VOICES has presented 30 conferences and symposiums featuring presentations by accomplished researchers, subject matter experts, victims' rights advocates and clinicians working in the field of trauma, grief and disaster mental health.
