Responder/Survivor Families

Since the attacks on September 11, thousands of responders and survivors have died of 9/11-related illnesses they contracted due to their exposure to toxins in Lower Manhattan. They were working in the recovery efforts or lived, worked or went to school in the area, in the days and months following the attacks.

Sadly, their families were without support services both during their illness and following their death. VOICES is providing support programs, psychoeducational workshops and bereavement services for the families of responders and survivors to help them through this difficult time. Learn more.
