Tomorrow we mark the solemn occasion of the 24th Anniversary. As we gather, we remember the 2,977 precious lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the over 8,500 responders and survivors who have died since of 9/11-related illness.

As we approach the 24th anniversary, we pause to remember those we lost on 9/11 and in its aftermath, and we honor their legacy. This month our programs bring the 9/11 Community together and highlight the continued efforts of those who support them, as well as the tireless work of the men and women who have dedicated their careers to keeping our communities safe.

VOICES is hosting its annual NYC Symposium on Tuesday, September 9th and Wednesday, September 10th. The two-day event, held in person and broadcast live, is presented in partnership with LinCT-AA, INVICTM, NYPD Shield, and our 9/11 Community Partners.

Join us for our upcoming support groups that provide an opportunity for 9/11 families, responders, survivors and families of those impacted by 9/11-related illness to gather virtually in advance of, and after the 24th Anniversary.

The September 9th program is held in partnership with LinCT-AA, INVICTM and NYPD Shield. Subject matter experts will explore the landscape of today’s evolving threats, the role of journalism and artificial intelligence, preparing for large scale events, and the ideologies that fuel extremism.

As the anniversary approaches, we would like to remind you of our upcoming programs for the 9/11 Community during the month of September. We hope you will join us for Our Voices Together Support Groups in advance of or following the anniversary.

Join us for an informative presentation exploring the evolution of grief - the past, present and future impact on those who experience a traumatic event.  Professor Zaneta Gileno, LCSW, will highlight how the grieving process has no timeline.
